Sifting through here and there among the forum discussions by well-known across the Channel I managed to snatch some more information, they speak softly of a project code-named " Anglesey " totally shrouded in mystery. Anglesey is a pistarella in North Wales (Ages reader will have heard more than once), and the name for the project seems not to be chosen at random in the factory, the nicknames of all variants of the Elise have borne the name of a circuit: Monza project for the second series, Zolder project was the Exige S2, the recent SC Imola. These precedents suggest that even a study Anglesey is linked somehow to the Elise.
