Lunedì scorso sotto la scrosciante pioggia scozzese si è tenuta la presentazione ufficiale ai giornalisti della Evora. Il giudizio è unanime, e a parte un paio di pecche (riguardanti la qualità degli interni) sembra essere davvero un'auto eccellente, in pieno spirito Lotus. Qui di seguito qualche estratto dai vari articoli che sono apparsi sul web nell'ultima settimana. Jeremy Clarkson "Ha un ottimo sterzo e si guida bene. Ovvio che lo fa, è una Lotus. Si libra semplicemente sopra qualunque cosa che un acquazzone e le strade secondarie inglesi possono gettarle addosso. Nessun'altra supercar a motore centrale è mai stata così accondiscendente. O rifinita. O silenziosa. La Evora, in definitiva, non è un'auto che compri solo perchè è una Lotus e ne hai sempre voluta una. E' un'auto che compri perchè vuoi una supercar a motore centrale che sia comoda e pratica, e nessun altro produce qualcosa del genere. Nemmeno la Ferrari. Nemmeno la Lamborghini. Nessuno."
Car Magazine "Il cockpit ha veramente un'aspetto da supercar. Una Cayman o una TT sembrano incredibilmente normali al confronto. Sedersi sul sedile di una Evora è un evento.
